There’s a lot to enjoy about K3. Day-to-day, I get to assist clients with an exciting mix of legal work, from transactional matters, to property matters, to litigation. The firm is open to staff members exploring different areas of law, and there are a number of subject matter experts that are always very happy to take time out of their day to discuss and provide guidance to more junior staff members. 

As a whole, K3 also strikes an awesome balance in terms of working hard and achieving great results for clients, while also fostering staff development and wellbeing. 

K3 offers an extremely diverse work environment where your “whole self” is genuinely welcomed. This makes juggling work and life commitments achievable and leaves you feeling refreshed and with energy to meet client commitments.

Fun, challenging and exciting.

I have a mix of both long and short term career goals, from developing my technical skill set to achieving greater responsibility on files. K3 has been extremely supportive of my goals and has shown this by offering me opportunities to consider and set new goals, enabling me to take time out of work to attend seminars / trainings etc., and by scheduling regular meetings with supervisors to “check in” and provide real feedback on progress.  

K3 offers a great work life balance, genuinely encourages people to achieve and do well, and offers a diverse, fun and respectful working environment. I’d have no hesitations recommending it as a work place.

At K3 Consulting we are a team of people with complementary skills, but a common ideology, that we support our clients to be successful in a sustainable way. This means that at the end of a project or interaction we know they are in a better position than when they began. That means that we have long standing relationships with our clients, who end up feeling like extended colleagues, advocates and trusted networks.

Having worked together in various roles throughout the years, we are a team who choose to be work partners, but we also all realise the importance of life outside of work commitments, so we actively support each other so we can be flexible in achieving our personal and professional goals.

I have the privilege of working with many clients in a week, therefore I may need to quickly shift between context, scenarios and topics. Sometimes this can be a mind-juggling experience, however, it also means that I can immerse myself in many different organisations, feel like part of their team, and I often come away more knowledgeable and passionate about their causes as a result. 

Challenging, Intensive, Rewarding

I love variety and having a challenge. This means trying new things which can sometimes be outside of my comfort zone. My team have confidence in giving me opportunities and are there to guide me, support me and provide valuable feedback.

Working alongside K3 Legal and K3 Accounting, there is a collegiality amongst the entire group, that makes the office a great place to share ideas, keep aware of issues, and think more broadly. The teams are open, friendly, respectful and hardworking.

The people and the different skills that each person brings to the table is what I like best about K3. We are multicultural and flexible so we can understand and accommodate to different needs. It is a great feeling when you know that people feel connected.

The team is very close knit and invested in you. The seniors know just the right amount of push and challenge you need, even when you lack confidence in yourself. They are patient and your hard work never goes unnoticed. 

Your learning does not stop when you are a junior lawyer. You will constantly be learning and challenging yourself throughout your entire career as a lawyer.

Fun, diverse, and valuable.

I started out as a law graduate without any knowledge of the field of work that interested me. Thanks to the great mentors and the variety of work of this firm has to offer, I was able to slowly navigate my interests and learn to do things that I never knew I could do!

To anyone that is looking to surround themselves with a supportive team that is truly invested in your growth, I would recommend.

Building strong relationships with our great clients. We have a large variety of different projects and roles in which we act for clients and to really do the best for them, we get to know them pretty well.

As part of the group, we often collaborate on client projects alongside our colleagues at K3 Legal and Consulting. This brings a whole new dynamic and level of creativity to the role, which allows us to learn and grow and deliver on a whole new level for clients, which is satisfying.

I’m a Chartered Accountant first and foremost but the roles and projects I undertake on a day to day basis are varied, insightful and rarely boring. I don't think all accountants can say that as much as I can.

Curious, personable and reliable.

K3 has provided me with the opportunity to be part of establishing a unique and successful public practice accountancy firm, from the ground up. With my goal of one day becoming a manager and partner, having been such a close part of that has been a level of experience not everyone gets to be involved with.
