Grace leads the firm’s Immigration Department, providing comprehensive counsel across all visa categories, waiver processes, ministerial requests, compliance investigations, deportation defence, and appeals.
Grace holds a Master of Laws from Emory University (USA) and a Bachelor of Laws from China, and studied at the University of Auckland before being admitted to practise in New Zealand. She combines a strong academic foundation in both Chinese and common law systems with extensive practical experience across Auckland-based firms. She also advises on related civil litigation, employment disputes, and family matters.
As a fluent Mandarin speaker and a member of the New Zealand Asian Lawyers Association, Grace understands the challenges of navigating multiple cultures. Over the years, she has cultivated strong relationships with migrant communities and industry partners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
